David E. Huang
David E. Huang is the Managing Attorney at BainwoodHuang. David began working in the field of Intellectual Property law in 1993, and has been practicing independently since 1999.
David is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute where he received his B.S. with Distinction in Electrical Engineering, and a graduate of Holy Cross College where he received his B.A. cum Laude in Mathematics. He then earned his Masters in Business Administration with Honors from Northeastern University, and his Juris Doctorate cum Laude from Suffolk University.
Handling all aspects of patent and trademark law, he is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He specializes in managing and developing intellectual property portfolios for both large and small technology companies. He plays a dominant role in drafting and prosecuting patent applications for both domestic and international clients of the firm.
David has experience in a variety of technical fields including computer hardware, software, storage devices, circuit board fabrication, digital and analog electronic devices, mechanical devices, optics, and medical devices. Prior to becoming an attorney, he worked as an engineer in the computer industry where he ported software applications to various operating system platforms, developed and programmed software workloads for characterizing the performance of new products, and contributed to the design and support of various computer bus, card cage and backplane architectures and assemblies.
