Ronald L. Gordon

Ron Gordon is a Registered Patent Agent at BainwoodHuang. He has been practicing in the field of patent law since 2007, beginning at a large Intellectual Property Law firm in downtown Boston and joining BainwoodHuang in 2010.

Ron handles a wide range of patent prosecution activities and has further experience with infringement/validity studies, due diligence activities and litigation support.

Ron holds a Ph.D. in Optics from the University of Rochester (1998), and a B.S. Physics (Summa Cum Laude) and a B.S. in Mathematics (Commonwealth Scholar) from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (1992). In addition to his experience in patent law, he has over 15 years experience in software engineering, semiconductor manufacturing and optical systems modeling with technology leaders such as IBM and Motorola. Ron himself is an inventor on four patents and has authored over 30 technical publications.

Ron’s areas of technical expertise include a broad range of computer-related and general electronics technologies, including power electronic systems, storage technologies, communications and switching networks, analog and digital electronics, optoelectronic systems, electronic transaction systems, and security systems. Ron has deep expertise in optical imaging systems, semiconductor manufacturing technologies and software systems.
